Trustees flag transportation, CTE and teacher pay as top priorities in SWOT

Participants also flagged concrete challenges. A group identified transportation across "228 square miles" as a logistical constraint that complicates start times and route planning. Several trustees said teacher salaries must remain competitive with nearby localities and that attendance and discipline issues presented operational pressure on the division.
"We're moving in a great direction in terms of start times," one trustee said, while another emphasized the need to keep salaries under continual review to retain and recruit staff.
