At its Jan. 16 meeting the Alexandria Township Board of Education approved a broad consent agenda that bundled finance, personnel, program and policy items. The consent agenda motion (moved by Caterina Dobak and seconded by Renee Bagley) passed on a roll-call vote with eight yes votes and one absence.
Item 15.B (approval of meeting minutes) was pulled for separate consideration and carried after a separate roll-call: Ann Marie Austin recorded an abstention, April Abelman was absent; tally: yes 7, abstain 1, absent 1. The consent agenda included the bill list, transfers, monthly financial certifications, grants and other routine approvals (motion language and associated documents are on file in the Business Office).
