The presenters cited Minnesota statutes governing WBWF and Achievement & Integration (Minn. Stat. sec. 120B.11 and 124D.861/124D.862) and said outcomes must be reported publicly by Dec. 15 each year. They emphasized WBWF goals: kindergarten readiness, closing racial and economic achievement gaps, career and college readiness, and high school graduation.
Miller and Lackner presented baseline literacy screening results and district plans for 2024-25: FastBridge universal screeners will be administered in Fall, Winter and Spring to inform instruction and site growth plans. Slides reported that "All K & 1 Students = 65%" were in the FastBridge "Low Risk" (on target) range in Spring 2023-24 and that districts must align local literacy goals to the READ Act and the renamed CACR requirements for 2024-25.
