WEM board adopts superintendent-related policies, approves Foster Care Transportation agreement and ICS contract
Summary
The board approved a Foster Care Transportation Services agreement with Rice County, rescinded Policy 301, adopted four superintendent-related policies (342–345), and approved a Commissioning and Technical Service Agreement with ICS.
At the Nov. 25 meeting the WEM Board of Education approved several policy and contract actions. The board approved a Foster Care Transportation Services agreement between Rice County and WEM Public Schools (motion by Jay Schneider, seconded by Jeff Stangler) and later voted to rescind Policy 301 (Superintendent Job Description, 2011) by motion of Jay Schneider, seconded by Jeff Stangler.
The board also approved policies 342 (Superintendent), 343 (Superintendent Selection), 344 (Superintendent Contract, Duties, and Evaluation), and 345 (Policy Implementation) on a motion by June Rezac, seconded by Brenda Heuss. Finally, the board approved a Commissioning and Technical Service Agreement with ICS. Each action is recorded in the minutes as passing with six members voting in favor.
