Staff propose $60,552 rock-engineering amendment for Truckee River retaining wall

Construction project manager (speaker 7) outlined an amendment for rock-engineering services for the Truckee River retaining-wall project near River Ranch, describing the work as investigation of existing wall integrity and development of a potential rebuild or replacement project and possible trail expansion for equipment access.
“The amendment is for $60,552 and this will be covered by the adopted 2025 capital budget for this project,” the Construction Project Manager said, and staff said they anticipate design and permitting will take much of 2025 with bidding and construction work possibly moving forward in 2026 subject to coordination with other agencies.
