At the Jan. 14 meeting of the parks body, a staff presenter said the proposed facility-use agreement for the golf course would mirror prior years and that approval is contingent on the SnowFest organizers securing all permits and meeting event criteria. The presenter asked that the item be placed on the consent agenda for formal approval once permitting is confirmed.
“Approval of this is also pending that SnowFest is able to secure all the permitting and ... meet all the criteria to hold the event,” the Director (speaker 1) said, noting staff would “cross that bridge when we get there” if issues arise. Staff also confirmed required insurance is already in place and that materials and attachments were included in the meeting packet.
