At a special work session April 22, 2025, the Board of Education for South St. Paul Public Schools reviewed the district's superintendent and school board evaluation tools with consultant Ray Queener of TeamWorks International. Chair Kim Humann opened the meeting at 5:00 PM with seven board members present; Superintendent Dr. Brian Zambreno and Manager of Administrative Services Lisa Brandecker were also in attendance.
Consultant Ray Queener and board members discussed the purpose, intent and structure of the evaluation process and the tools the district would use. The conversation emphasized balancing a streamlined evaluation process with the ongoing development of the district's new strategic plan. Board members agreed to review sample versions of the evaluation tools and provide feedback to Chair Humann; the collective responses will be unpacked by the Superintendent Executive Committee. The special work session adjourned at 6:47 PM.
