Board approves three temporary special-education and alternative education hires

The Cascade School District #5 Board approved a resolution on Sept. 9 to hire three temporary teachers recommended by the administration. The slate—John Davis (Temporary Alternative Education Teacher), Marleah Hansen (Temporary Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher), and Halle Wright (Temporary Special Education Behavior Teacher)—was moved by Vice Chair Ruth Stevens and seconded by Karen Ramseyer; the motion carried with all trustees voting yes.
Superintendent Darin Drill presented the recommendations as part of the personnel agenda; no discussion was recorded before the unanimous vote to approve the hires.
