The board reviewed the timeline and elements of the upcoming superintendent evaluation. Members agreed to have the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) administer the targeted feedback survey and report the results, but the board opted not to have OSBA facilitate the evaluation discussion.
The board preliminarily chose two standards to focus the survey on: Standard 5 (Communication and Community Relations) and Standard 4 (Culturally Responsive Instructional Leadership and Improvement). Katherine Johnson volunteered to communicate the board's facilitation preference to OSBA and board members agreed to finalize the list of survey recipients — staff, administrators and community members — at the December work session.
