The Wyoming County Board approved a staff recommendation to contract with Curriculum Associates (i-Ready) for K–3 benchmark and diagnostic assessments.
A staff member told the board two companies responded to the RFP and that Curriculum Associates already appears on the WDDE approved screener list. "Concourse does not fall into that category," the staff member said, supporting the recommendation to continue with the district's existing platform. The presenter said the vendor meets the criteria established in the 3rd Grade Success Act and that payment will be braided using 3rd Grade Success Act funds, possible Title I carryover, and other available sources; final funding splits will be set after vendor quotes are reviewed.
Board members moved and approved the award. Staff noted that implementation and training details will be coordinated with teachers and administrators who are already familiar with the platform.
