Roseau board names election judges and absentee ballot board for Nov. 4 special election

The Roseau Public School Board adopted a resolution Oct. 6, 2025, appointing election judges to serve at the district’s special election on Nov. 4 and naming absentee ballot board members who will process absentee returns. Member Heather Magnusson introduced and moved the resolution; Member Jodee Haugen seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The resolution identifies polling locations and personnel: Roseau City Center (121 Center Street East) is listed with Debbie Johnson named as Head Election Judge; other appointed judges include Mary Foley, Sharon Lund, Carmen Przekwas, Carla Lindemoen, Aimee Berger, Eileen Carter, Deanne Vatnsdal, Mary Jean Anderson, Julane Kjaer, Linda Hedlund, Sharon Grafstrom and Sandra Flagstad. The resolution designates Debbie Johnson, Heidi Karnowski, Lauren Johnson and Thomas Jerome as absentee ballot board members at the Roseau School District Office (509 3rd St. NE).
The document also designates Sheila Winstead and Carmen Przekwas to deliver absentee ballots to hospital patients and residents of health-care facilities "in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 203B.11, subdivision 1."
