Staff later reported that the contractor had not provided a confirmed schedule for some other chip-seal work but expected completion by Sept. 1 if the schedule holds. "We can't seem to get any kind of word from them on schedule," Jessica said when updating the board on contractor timing.
The authorization will let staff finalize procurement paperwork and proceed when the contractor sets a firm start date.
