Board designates combined polling place for school district elections in Granite Falls

On Oct. 14 the Yellow Medicine East School Board adopted a resolution establishing a combined polling place for multiple precincts at the Kilowatt Community Center, 600 Kilowatt Drive, Granite Falls, MN. The resolution designates voting hours from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for school district elections not held on the day of a statewide election.
The motion was made by Jeremy LeBlanc, seconded by Matt Zempel, and carried unanimously by roll call. The resolution provides the district a designated, consolidated location and set hours for future off-statewide-election voting for district contests and referenda.
