Tory McVay moved to approve the Oct. 10, 2024 minutes, with Glenn Wachter seconding; the motion passed 7-0. On a subsequent motion by Glenn Wachter, seconded by Mitzi Bauer, the board adopted a consent agenda covering employment changes, licensed additional assignments and terminations, and travel permissions. The consent agenda included authorization for 12 Clackamas High School students to travel to Phoenix, Arizona, Dec. 17–22, 2024. The motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
Later in the meeting, Mitzi Bauer moved and Tory McVay seconded adoption of a proclamation recognizing November 2024 as Native American Heritage Month in the district; that motion also passed 7-0.
