The Royse City ISD Board approved an update to local policy FNN CE to bring the district into compliance with HB 1481. Dr. Walker said the policy "aligns very closely with the legislation that passed" and noted the district will handle specific noncompliance through the student handbook and campus procedures. Trustees asked how implementation has gone; administrators reported early results are favorable and that staff will continue communication with families and students.
