Pendleton board approves August financial report; notes asbestos abatement and facility repairs

Director of Business Services Michelle Jones presented the district financials and told the board that expenditures for August were "usual and customary and in line with month/yearly budget projections," noting several facility projects: asbestos abatement of one classroom at McKay, flooring replacement at McKay and Pendleton High School, gym floor refinishing at Sunridge and Warberg, and a gym floor covering for PHS that can be used on either Warberg or Gold gyms.
Director Mason Murphy moved to approve the Aug. 31, 2024 financial report; Director Beth Harrison seconded and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes record the expenditures as consistent with budget projections and no exceptions were noted at the meeting.
