Superintendent Kevin Headings presented a package of policies and accompanying administrative rules recommended by the Oregon School Boards Association (OSBA) for second reading and adoption. The set included GBNAB/JHFE (Suspected Abuse of a Child Reporting Requirements); IGBAF and IGBAF-AR (Special Education — Individualized Education Program); IGBAG (Special Education — Procedural Safeguards); JBAA and JBAA-AR (Section 504 — Students); and JGAB and JGAB-AR (Use of Restraint and Seclusion).
Director Mason Murphy moved to approve the listed policies and administrative rules; Director Ryan Lehnert seconded. The minutes record that the motion "carried unanimously." The adoption brings district policy language into alignment with OSBA guidance; no board member questions or amendments were recorded in the minutes.
