Board hears difference between i‑Ready and STAR, and how Acadience factors into K–5 reporting

Board members asked whether the district should treat the new i‑Ready baseline differently because this was the first year using the platform; staff cautioned the baseline 'may be artificially low.' The conversation clarified that different grades and assessments (STAR, Acadience, i‑Ready) were used across K–8 last year and that STAR remains in use for 8th‑grade math.
