At the November meeting the board cast its OSBA votes and adopted three resolutions. Carol Hacherl moved and Bob Brown seconded a motion to vote for Jackie Crook for OSBA Board position 9; the motion passed unanimously. The board then voted to adopt a resolution amending the OSBA dues schedule; Carol Hacherl moved and Angel Ashdown seconded and the resolution passed unanimously.
The board next considered a resolution to create an OSBA PRIDE Caucus. Korinn Hockett moved to adopt the resolution and Angel Ashdown seconded; the motion passed but Board Member Bob Brown abstained. Bob Brown said the dues schedule and some OSBA policies can place small districts at a disadvantage and he said he will draft a letter on behalf of the board to elected officials regarding the dues schedule. Finally, the board adopted proposed amendments to OSBA bylaws by unanimous vote.
