The Reynolds School District Board approved its consent agenda on Sept. 25, 2024, by a 5-0 vote. Director Ana Gonzalez Muñoz moved approval and Director Aaron Muñoz seconded.
Consent items included an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) with Portland State University for a Senior Inquiry program; an IGA with the City of Gresham for a Youth Violence Prevention Program; an IGA with the Multnomah County Health Department for sexual health instruction; and an IGA with Multnomah County for Open School placements. The consent agenda also included approval of a Forest Ecology field trip to Olympic National Forest and a Whole Kids Garden Grant Agreement for Margaret Scott Elementary.
Minutes record staff clarifications on the Open School IGA: Reynolds will have 22 spots available under the Open School arrangement (the district pays only for spots used). Historical Open School enrollments were listed in the minutes: 2023–24: 27 Reynolds students (11 enrolled all year); 2022–23: 27 (10 enrolled all year); 2021–22: 24 (10 enrolled all year).
