Human Resources Director Kevin Dinning presented the personnel report at the Oct. 8 work session that listed new classified hires (Jennifer Henderer, paraprofessional; Gaige Futter, custodian), planned resignations (effective 11/1/2024: Rayella Walker as Maintenance/Custodial Lead) and other recent departures. Dinning said the district has added 14 certified positions since 2019–20 and added two elementary assistant principals in 2021–22 despite an approximate 200-student enrollment decline over five years.
Director Mason Murphy moved to approve the personnel recommendations; Director Preston Eagleheart seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes do not record individual roll-call votes. The board discussed that Title I funds contribute to paraprofessional costs at the PELC and that recent staffing additions are aimed at improving behavior supports and addressing academic gaps.
