The board moved through several administrative actions in a single section of the agenda. Trustees approved the consent agenda by voice vote, then approved hires and resignations reported from closed session; each motion passed with a 6–0 voice vote. Administration then recommended a policy change to CH local to align the district purchasing threshold with the state's new single-purchase threshold of $100,000 (up from $50,000), and the board approved the amendment.
In finance actions, administration asked the board to designate investment officers. Byron Bryant noted that he and Steven Brock had previously served as investment officers and recommended adding Tara Trainham, the executive director of finance, who has completed required training. "She has done all the investment trainings that are required," administration said. The resolution to name the superintendent, Steven Brock and Tara Trainham as investment officers was approved unanimously.
