Tucker said AI Smart has reached more than 6,000 people through community events and local partnerships and emphasized a gap between how teachers discipline generative AI use and how students want guidance: "Many students are not trying to cut corners from using AI. They simply do not know where the line is," he said. He offered student‑friendly guides, prompt‑writing instruction and workshops to help students "use AI to strengthen their education rather than shortcut it."
Trustees thanked Tucker for the presentation; administration took the comment under consideration but no formal partnership was announced.
