Spearman ISD sets polling places and early voting dates for May 3 special bond election

The board designated the district as a single election precinct (Voting Precinct No. 1) and set the polling location for Election Day at Spearman High School (east doors), 403 E. 11th Avenue, Spearman, Texas. Election Day hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The primary early voting period by personal appearance is April 22–29, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The minutes identify Roger Morton as the presiding judge for the election and Nora Saenz as the early voting clerk.
Trustee Scott Sonnenberg moved to adopt the order, seconded by Trustee Stephen Batton; the motion was recorded as carried 7-0. Exhibit A to the order lists the polling places and notes that the superintendent or the superintendent's designee may appoint additional temporary judges if a polling location becomes unavailable. The order also requires bilingual election materials (English and Spanish) and authorizes the district to post a voter information document and notice on the district website.
