Chair said the process would include a prescreening phase while applications are open, an executive-session screening by the board March 30–31, semifinalist interviews the week of April 7–8 and finalist visits April 20–24. "So we'll use this as a guide for our timeline," the Chair said. Committee members discussed timing for offers and contract negotiation in mid-April so a new superintendent could start by July 1.
The committee also agreed HR will prepare prescreening matrices and a web page with resources and forms for stakeholders to volunteer for interview panels. The committee asked staff to have the posting and web materials ready to go by Monday if possible and to research additional posting venues beyond the five suggested sites.
Next steps: HR will prepare the posting, prescreening tool and a Google interest form for stakeholder volunteers; the committee planned a follow-up work session to finalize panel membership and rubrics before applications close.
