Spurger ISD board approves budget amendment and adopts TASB Update 124

The Spurger Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a budget amendment and adopted TASB Update 124 at its Feb. 13, 2025 meeting. Trustees also approved the consent agenda containing minutes from previous January meetings.
"Motion made by Brent Marcum to Approve items on Consent Agenda," the record shows; Forrest Anderson seconded and the consent agenda passed unanimously. Brent Marcum later moved to approve a budget amendment; Cheryl Spangler seconded and the amendment passed unanimously. Derrick Gray moved to approve TASB Update 124, which the agenda lists as including changes to local policies CAA, CDA, CY, DH, EHB, EHBB, FFG and GKA; Forrest Anderson seconded and the board approved the update unanimously.
