"The Board's objective tonight is to hear from parents P.M. and V.G. concerning their complaint regarding the Level Two decision of June 18, 2024, and any response from the Spring Branch ISD Administration," President Alpe said as she reviewed hearing guidelines. The parents asked to proceed in closed session; the Board complied and convened in closed session under Texas Government Code §§ 551.071, 551.074 and 551.0821 to protect attorney consultation, employee complaint proceedings and student personally identifiable information.
According to the meeting record, the parents presented their Level III complaint and the Administration’s response was delivered by district counsel Bryce Corsaut. After presentations and closed deliberations, Vice President Courtney Anderson moved and Trustee John Perez seconded a motion to uphold the Level II decision. The motion passed 6-0 when the Board returned to open session at 7:51 PM. President Alpe adjourned the hearing at 7:52 PM.
