The Spearman Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the 2026–27 District Improvement Plan and individual campus improvement plans at its July 13 regular meeting. The motion to approve was made by Rhett Renner and seconded by Jay Tracy and carried 6–0.
Superintendent LeeAnn McGraw presented the plans for board consideration as part of the meeting’s action items. Trustees did not amend the documents and approved them as presented; the district will move forward with implementation tasks identified in the plans for the coming school year.
The approval is intended to align campus goals with district priorities such as academic achievement, staffing stability and curriculum standards. No formal public comment was recorded on the item during the meeting. The board’s next regularly scheduled meeting is set for Aug. 4, 2026.
