New board member Coral Sadler sworn in at Seaside School District meeting

The Seaside School District formally welcomed Coral Sadler at the start of its March meeting when she took the oath of office. Chair (speaker 2) opened the meeting and invited Sadler to read the oath; Sadler said, “I, Coral Sadler, do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of The United States, the constitution of the state of Oregon, and the laws thereof, and the policies of the of the Seaside School District.”
The board then rose for the Pledge of Allegiance and approved a modified agenda that included late additions such as retirements and an out-of-state robotics trip request. The chair called the motion and declared it carried. The swearing-in and immediate vote set the meeting’s tone for governance and upcoming budget and committee discussions.
