Sudan ISD board approves consent agenda and financial report

At its May 12 meeting the Sudan Independent School District board approved the consent agenda and the district financial report, both passing on unanimous 6-0 votes.
The Sudan Independent School District School Board approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from previous meetings, the tax collector’s report, the current transfer list and the maintenance report. President Richard Salazar called for a motion; Ryan Harper moved to approve and Susan Baker seconded. The motion carried 6-0.
Superintendent Scott Harrell presented the district’s financial report and recommended approval. Joe Ky Shultz moved to accept the financial report and Clay Carr seconded; the board voted 6-0 in favor. The meeting record states simply, “Motion carried 6-0.” The approvals keep routine administrative and fiscal items on schedule as the district prepares for the new school year.
