The Sudan Independent School District board voted unanimously Feb. 10 to accept a $201,231 insurance bid from the Texas Association of School Boards for the district’s Auto, Liability and Property coverage for March 1, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2026. Superintendent Scott Harrell recommended the award to trustees during the regular meeting.
Vice President Clay Carr moved to accept the recommendation and Ryan Harper seconded; the motion carried 5-0. The board took the action as part of routine business after hearing the Budget and Finance Advisory Committee update earlier in the meeting.
