Interim Superintendent Kim Kellison told the Silver Falls School District 4J board that the district is required to present the School Improvement (SIA) grant agreement at a board meeting and reviewed the requirement at the Nov. 24 work session. Board members asked whether the SIA grant amount could be reduced if the state enacts further budget cuts.
Kellison’s presentation occurred before technical difficulties interrupted her connection later in the meeting; Tom Andrews, director of finance, stepped in to finish parts of the budget update. The board did not take final action on the SIA agreement during the work session.
