On Oct. 28 the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown School Board approved a consent agenda that included personnel actions and coaching appointments. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Board Member Jay Schneider and seconded by Rezac; the board voted in favor.
Hires approved included Max Schieffer (Evening Custodian, Step 4, $15.32/hour), Katie Slechta (Kitchen Assistant/Baker, Band B-2-2, Step C, $15.57/hour) and Aurelia Cruz Morales (Evening Custodian, Step 8, $16.66/hour). The board accepted the resignation of Sara Meihak as Food Services Director effective Nov. 1 and accepted the retirement of Vincent Harmon, Head Custodian after 16 years of service effective Nov. 1. The board also approved a 2024–25 overload payment of $5,807.20 for Anna Skidmore and ratified several coaching appointments with stipulated amounts.
These personnel approvals were bundled in the consent agenda, carried by a single motion, and recorded without separate roll-call objections in the minutes.
