The Tarkington ISD Board accepted the Annual Financial and Compliance Audit Report for 2024 during the Jan. 27 meeting after a presentation by Matt Rogers of Weaver Assurance, Tax & Advisory Firm.
Matt Rogers discussed the audit findings and recommendations. Trustee Paige Bostwick moved to accept the audit report; Kevin Johnson seconded the motion. The board voted unanimously 7–0 to accept the audit as presented. No amendments to the report were recorded in the minutes.
The acceptance places the audit on record for district financial reporting; any audit findings will be tracked by district finance staff for remediation as required by audit procedures.
