Sweetwater ISD reports monitoring improvements; SMS honors class project spotlighted

At the Nov. 19 meeting, Janell Martin presented monitoring-calendar data (GPM 1.3) showing improvements on multiple levels. The monitoring report was followed by a school spotlight from Kevin Stoker, SMS principal, who presented a project completed by Mrs. Lucas and her 8th-grade honors classes. Trustees also heard that the Maintenance Department refurbished the courtyard and that SMS recently hosted a Veteran’s Day assembly and completed front parking-lot recoating.
The monitoring report and school updates were presented for the Board's information; no formal action was taken on these items during the meeting.
