Superintendent Dr. Deidre Parish updated the Board of Trustees on bond-funded construction at the Sept. 16 meeting, saying the district has completed a concrete pour for the new gym and expects the tennis courts to be finished by spring. "The concrete had been poured for the Gym and the tennis courts should be completed by this spring," Dr. Parish reported.
Dr. Parish also told trustees that work continues on district roofs and that all roofs have been checked following recent rains. The board did not set additional construction deadlines at the meeting. The update was provided during the bond update portion of the agenda and elicited no formal motion or vote.
