Residents and commissioners press utility after in-valley power outage

At the start of the meeting residents raised a recent in-valley power outage and asked whether it occurred inside Castle Valley. Pamela Gibson identified herself and asked whether the outage affected the valley; the utility representative confirmed the outage occurred in the valley and said crews were investigating.
"We closed down the system. The fuse blow, we took it back up. I was able to get skied up on 1 of my reclosures," the utility representative said while describing an on-site intervention and ongoing investigation. A resident (Harry Holland) thanked crews for rapid response and noted the town’s ordinances provide tools to address both reliability and visual impacts.
