The Planning and Land Use Commission unanimously approved a nonroutine decommissioning compliance contract for Lot 227 on Aug. 14. The contract requires the property owners, identified in the record as Danny and Chrissy Prickett, to disable or remove the kitchen/service area in the existing structure within 30 days of the certificate of occupancy for the new house; the provision will be recorded at the county.
Commissioner Jamie moved to approve the agreement and Jeff Whitney seconded. The commission took a roll-call vote (Jamie/Jeff/Marie/George/Brian recorded as aye) and the motion passed. "You have authorization," the chair said after the vote; staff and the applicants were thanked for their work on the application.
