The International Falls School Board voted unanimously April 21 to retain a five‑day school week for the 2025–26 school year while continuing to explore and collect feedback on a potential four‑day option. The motion, brought by board member Tina Sather and seconded by Bruce Raboin, passed with all voting members in favor.
Vice‑Chair Jessica Crosby asked that the district investigate patterns of student absenteeism as part of the ongoing review before any future change, and the board directed staff to continue evaluation and community engagement. The action was recorded as a formal board motion and adopted unanimously.
