The motion to adopt the federal rate was made by Jay Zapzalka and seconded by Jeremy Nelson and passed unanimously (Yea: 6, Nay: 0). The packet included the state payroll memo noting the IRS increase effective Jan. 1, 2025.
The board confirmed its 2025 regular meeting calendar (generally the fourth Monday at 6:00 p.m.) and approved removing the Jacobson Fire Hall as a public posting place for meeting notices. The board also designated several local radio stations (KOZY 1320 AM, KMFY 96.9 FM, WTBX 93.9 FM, KAXE 91.7 FM, USA 99.9 FM, KJAB 105.5 FM) and regional TV outlets (WCCO, KBJR, KDLH, WDIO/WIRT) for emergency school-closing notifications.
