Multiple formal actions were recorded across three recent meetings. On Nov. 14 (special meeting) the board adopted resolutions canvassing returns for the Nov. 5 school district election and authorized issuance of certificates of election; both resolutions passed 5–0 with one member absent. The special meeting also approved the hiring of Jonathan Miner (dishwasher/cook helper and .17 FTE paraprofessional) and Steve Martin as junior‑high boys basketball coach.
At the Oct. 28 meeting the board adopted the 2024–25 MSHSL resolution, approved an MOU with Aitkin County Health, and approved the fitness center rate adjustment (6–0). On Nov. 25 the board approved a slate of personnel actions, financial approvals, the tobacco‑policy update, and the READ Act MOU. Most motions on Nov. 25 passed by roll-call vote 5–0 with one absence.
