The Hill City Public School District board approved October 2024 bills totaling $770,105.72 during its Nov. 25 regular meeting. The board recorded the largest single line item in the Construction Fund at $347,120.79 and a General Fund total of $350,454.64.
The motion to approve the bills was made by Joell Miranda and seconded by Haley Wentz; the roll call recorded five yeas and one absence (Sarah Kingsley). The board also reviewed and approved October receipts of $497,957.12, which included $445,746.35 credited to the General Fund and $7,949.32 to the Debt Service Fund.
Board members noted investments showed no changes at the time of the report. The approvals were part of the consent agenda, which also included corrected minutes from previous meetings. These routine financial actions were recorded as passed with no opposing votes.
