During the CRO presentation, the Planning Commission and consultants discussed several University of Vermont properties that appeared in draft recommendations. Lisa Kingsbury, who identified herself as "the associate director of planning at UVM," attended and corrected the consultants: the university does not currently plan to build housing on the Horticultural Farm.
"We don't have any plans for that at this moment, and we do not have any plans to put housing on the Hort Farm right now," said Lisa Kingsbury (speaker 10). Consultants agreed to delete or revise references that implied imminent housing and pledged to continue conversations with UVM and city staff about public access and potential future collaboration on open-space opportunities.
