Sergeant Davidson of the Cochise County Sheriff's Office announced that the department's annual Charity Ride will be held on Nov. 7, 2026, and "it'll start at 9 in the morning." Davidson said the ride raises funds for local nonprofit organizations. "The charity ride gives back to our local community, more specifically to local nonprofit organizations," he said, adding that organizers have "given back $50,000 every year, hundreds of thousands of dollars to local organizations." The event has been hosted in recent years by Ed Morris Automotive Group's Nissan dealership, and this year's format will again include both on-road and off-road routes so a wide range of vehicles can participate.
Organizers are offering a pre-party on Nov. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Desert RV in Whetstone. The announcement included a preview of raffle prizes and a reminder that the pre-party will feature additional items available that evening. No registration details or beneficiary organizations were specified in the announcement.
