Royse City ISD casts district votes for appraisal-district board seats

The Royse City ISD Board cast the district's allotted appraisal-district votes for county board candidates as recommended from closed session. For Rockwall County the board cast all 238 votes for David Billings; for Collin County the district cast its two votes for Bain Brooks; and for Hunt County the board cast 156 votes for Paul Painter. Each motion to cast the district's votes passed by a 6-0 voice vote.
Byron, presenting the recommendation, reviewed the number of votes the district controls in each county and listed the nominees. "The candidates were, David Billings, Anthony Crawford, Richard Koepke, and Cedric Thomas," he said when explaining the Rockwall County choices. The board then moved and approved the recommended vote allocations.
