The Trinity ISD Board of Trustees convened a closed executive session at 7:28 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2025 under the Texas Open Meetings Act (the minutes cite Texas Government Code Secs. 551.001, 551.074 and 551.076). The listed executive-session topics were the superintendent’s appraisal, consideration of the superintendent’s contract, and a review of the District Vulnerability Assessment from the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
When the board returned to open session, Trustee Judy Bishop moved and Trustee Maggie Trevino seconded a motion to table both the superintendent’s appraisal and contract review until the Feb. 6, 2025 meeting; the motion carried unanimously. The minutes do not record the substance of the appraisal discussion or any contract terms; the entry notes only that the review was postponed to the next board meeting.
