Tuloso-Midway board sets 2024–25 tax rate at $0.9489 per $100 of value

The Tuloso-Midway ISD Board of Trustees voted to maintain property taxes by adopting a tax rate of $0.9489 per $100 of assessed value for 2024–25 during the Aug. 26 meeting. The board recorded the allocation as $0.7575 per $100 to the General Fund and $0.1914 per $100 to the Debt Service Fund.
"I move that property taxes be maintained by the adoption of a tax rate of $0.9489. This tax rate will include $0.7575 per $100.00 value for the General Fund and a tax rate of $0.1914 per $100.00 value for the Debt Service Fund," the resolution states. Trustee Ben Benavides moved the resolution and Trustee Paul Mostella seconded; the board approved the motion 6–0. The minutes note the $0.0237 per $100 increase (allocated to debt service).
