Board approves Swisher County Extension adjuncts, updates bank signatories and passes consent agenda

At the Aug. 15 meeting the Tulia ISD Board approved appointing Swisher County Extension agents Calley Runnels, Michael Clawson, Jason Wade and Blayne Reed as adjunct faculty for the 2024–2025 school year. The motion was moved by Nicole Gore and seconded by Jenni McCaslin and passed unanimously.
The board also approved changes to authorized signatories on Happy State Bank accounts, adding several district administrators (including Superintendent Dixie Johnson and CFO Diana Wolfe) and removing prior signatories as listed in the meeting record. Trustees approved updates to the Tulia High School, Junior High and Elementary school accounts similarly.
Finally, the board approved the consent agenda covering financial reports, monthly bills, investments, donations, budget amendments and prior meeting minutes. All consent items passed by unanimous vote.
