Tulia ISD approves $448,216 property and liability insurance for 2024–25

The Tulia ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district’s 2024–2025 property and liability insurance from the Property & Casualty Alliance of Texas (PCAT) at a cost of $448,216.
Superintendent Dixie Johnson answered trustees’ questions about the insurance proposal before the motion was approved (motion by Kacy Quinton; second by Clint Mahannah). The cost figure was reported during the meeting record and accepted by the board without amendment.
The purchase secures coverage for district property and liability exposures for the coming school year; the district’s business office will handle premium payment and policy administration.
