Operations report: HVAC, roofing and summer projects target mid-August completion

Operations staff updated trustees on summer cleaning, roofing and indoor-air-quality work under an OSPI grant, and said work on the 400 Building's HVAC will be completed by mid-August.
Terry, the district operations lead, described summer maintenance and construction across the district and highlighted an OSPI indoor-air-quality grant that is funding HVAC and control upgrades in the 400 Building. "The target is to be done by, at least with all the construction components by the middle of August," Terry said, adding that new outdoor units, ductwork repurposing and new controls are part of the project.
Terry also described routine summer cleaning, roof vent repairs at the high school gym and the planned demolition and replacement of a fire portable; staff praised summer crews for working with limited resources and said progress is being monitored to minimize disruption when students return. Trustees thanked operations staff and asked staff to continue sharing timelines and photos as projects wrap up.
